During Monday's media day, Portland Trail Blazers president of basketball operations Neil Olshey declined to offer a timetable for the return of center Jusuf Nurkic from a compound left lower leg fracture suffered in March. "We're going to stay purposefully vague at this point," Olshey said. "He's in working out, he's shooting. We had guys with him all summer. He's tracking on the proper timeline." Besides Nurkic, the only other Portland player limited to start training camp is center Pau Gasol, who underwent surgery to repair a stress fracture in his left foot in May. Olshey said Gasol is expected to be able to practice full bore next week and be available for opening night.
