LeBron: Won't talk NBA-China dispute again

LeBron James said Tuesday that while he hopes tension between China and the NBA will subside, these would be his last comments about the turmoil.

Anthony Davis said he went through the Lakers' full practice with a light wrap around his sprained right thumb and hopes to play against Golden State on Wednesday. Head coach Frank Vogel said Davis and the medical staff will determine if Davis plays after seeing how he feels overnight and before game. Davis is listed as day-to-day.

Protesters in Hong Kong burn LeBron jerseys

Protestors gathered on courts amid Hong Kong's high-rise buildings to vent their anger and set fire to LeBron James jerseys after the Lakers star's comments about free speech.

The Lakers have signed guard Reggie Hearn and waived David Stockton. Hearn averaged 11.4 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists while shooting 40.4 percent from three-point range with the Stockton Kings last season. The Lakers roster is at 20, including two two-way players.

LeBron: Morey 'misinformed' before China tweet

LeBron James said he believes Daryl Morey "wasn't educated" before sending out a tweet in support of antigovernment protesters in Hong Kong that damaged relations between China and the NBA.

LeBron James said "only time will tell" what the ramifications and fallout will be over the situation between China and the NBA. James also said that any concerns the players had over Daryl Morey's tweet should stay behind closed doors. James did say that he didn't think Morey was educated on the situation before tweeting and that everyone should be careful before speaking and tweeting. He says that he believes Morey was misinformed or not educated before he tweeted.

LeBron James said when he was there, he and his teammates were hoping the games would still be played because they flew all the way over there. "We were hoping the game wouldn't get canceled because we wanted to play," James said.
