Oregon cruises into the second round with a 93-77 win over Iona. The Ducks didn't miss Chris Boucher in their tournament opener, thanks largely to a hyper-efficient offense (1.3 points per possession). But the team that set a Pac-12 record for blocked shots this season was credited with only one against the Gaels. Boucher's missing defensive presence is still a concern going forward.

Iona trying to make things interesting here, with six made three-pointers in the second half. But Oregon seems to answer every mini-run with an easy bucket inside.

Blowout city now in Sacramento, as Oregon races out to a 25-point lead. Ducks are averaging 1.54 points per possession and are shooting 62 percent. That's, uh, pretty good.

Iona's best player, Jordan Washington, screamed in pain after falling under the Oregon basket late in the first half. Looks like a possible leg cramp. Oregon stretched out its lead and dominated inside while Washington sat on the bench with two fouls. The Ducks lead by 18 at halftime with a 34-10 edge in points in the paint.

Iona made a spirited run at Oregon to slice the lead down to just three points, and Dana Altman was concerned enough that he brought star player Dillon Brooks back into the game despite having two fouls. The gamble has worked so far, as the Ducks have pushed their lead back to seven. Brooks still needs to be very careful the rest of this half.
