New Missouri coach Eli Drinkwitz predicts success

Eli Drinkwitz was introduced Tuesday as the new football coach at Missouri, laying out his vision for the once-proud program with unwavering confidence and bold proclamations.

Eli Drinkwitz has reached an agreement to become Missouri's next head football coach and a deal is being finalized, sources told ESPN's Chris Low. Drinkwitz guided Appalachian State to the Sun Belt Conference championship this season in his first year in Boone.

Missouri TE Okwuegbunam entering NFL draft

Missouri tight end Albert Okwuegbunam announced Monday that he is entering the NFL draft. The 2018 John Mackey Award finalist is ranked by ESPN's Mel Kiper as the No. 6 tight end among draft prospects.

Missouri announces coach Barry Odom's dismissal. Athletic director Jim Sterk statement: "As a program, we had tremendous momentum coming into the 2019 season with the opening of the new south end zone facility as well as other strategic investments in our football program. However, we lost a great deal of that energy during the last half of the season. This decision was difficult to make but was necessary."
