Ohio State maintains the top spot in the Allstate Playoff Predictor.

The Buckeyes now have the best chance to make the College Football Playoff, with a 74% chance to make the top four and a 25% chance to win it all. Ohio State's dominance over Michigan State has Ryan Day's squad thinking big. Transfer QB Justin Fields is a legit Heisman candidate, and the defense has mostly eliminated the big plays that killed it last season. Bigger challenges await, but for now, the Buckeyes certainly look the part.

Alabama and Clemson stay at No. 2 and 3, respectively, following off weeks. The Crimson Tide (69% to make the playoff) travel to No. 24 Texas A&M this week. Clemson (65%) hosts Florida State.

Georgia and Oklahoma are tied at 45% to make the playoff, with LSU coming in at No. 6. We could see the Tigers rise this week if they get past Florida, which comes into Tiger Stadium following a big win over Auburn. The Gators currently have an 8% chance of making the playoff.

Undefeated Baylor continues to move up the Allstate Playoff Predictor, now with the 14th-best odds. The Bears are 5-0 and currently have the second-best odds in the Big 12, even ahead of Texas. Of course, if the Longhorns take down the rival Sooners this week, that will change.
